The General Assembler/Warehouse position will be located at our Des Moines, Iowa Headquarters and will report to the Shop Supervisor. This position will assemble our equipment, help prepare parts for the paint department, and assist in our R&D center as needed.

The right candidate should be able to effectively work in a team environment and have strong communication and mechanical skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Assemble equipment per specifications.

-Operate various power, pneumatic, and hand tools.

-Perform minor welding on presses as needed.

-Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts.

-Make mechanical adjustments as needed.

-Operate forklift to move equipment/parts.

-Prepares and crates equipment for shipment.

-Stock shelves.

-Prep parts for painter.

-Assist in R&D area as needed.

 

REQUIREMENTS

-Must be authorized to work in the United States.

-High School Diploma or equivalent required.

-Mechanical background/abilities required.

-Basic electrical knowledge preferred.

-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite a plus.

-CDL a plus.
