Insta-Pro currently uses a Unitronics UniStream PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and a large 15.6” color touchscreen. Operators gain instant visibility into key production metrics such as equipment temperatures, motor performance, and feeder speed, all displayed through live trend graphs (fig1). This empowers operators to consistently meet extrusion parameters for maximizing the quality of output products.
Beyond monitoring, the control panels also automate data capture, with process results continuously logged for recordkeeping, training, and regulatory compliance. Built-in preventative maintenance alerts allow operators to stay ahead of wear issues or performance deviations reducing the risk of unexpected downtime and extending the life of critical equipment (fig2).

Insta-Pro’s control technology is designed for full connectivity. Thanks to integrated web access and secure data logging, operators and managers can remotely monitor equipment status, access alarms, and review operational data from virtually anywhere.
